Released on February 12, 2007.
Added new LDM event: Q-DiscTx.
Changed in Q.931 the processing of received STATUS message and the timer T322 expiry. This was introduced to tolerate imprecise STATUS messages (incorrect cause element) in response to STATUS enquiry.
Fixed of ORCD parameter in CTIP. If the number was received completely in the SETUP message the ORDC was not satisfied, even if it should.
Fixed 'IAX-PORT:' displayed value in case of IAX-HOST:DYNAMIC.
Fixed 'Not Refreshed' information after INIT CTISYS for CTI groups of links.
Released on December 19, 2006.
None
Fixed of ORCD parameter in CTIP. If the number was received completely in the SETUP message the ORDC was not satisfied, even if it should.
Fixes a problem in DISA when PIN was not inserted at first attempt.
Fixed ESB2 diagnostics. A wrong indication was provided to upper layer in case of E1 interface.
Released on December 7, 2006.
Added queues handling in DISA (Direct Inward System Access) service. It now allows to handle queues with various courtesy messages, which are very useful for parking incoming calls when the main operator is off-hook and until he goes off-hook. Queues are not limited to local extensions, they can be used also for remote destinations through a periodic call attempt.
Fixed setting of AFTERPIN parameter in ctidisa group.
Fixed problem with VMS (Voice Message Server) used by DISA. There was a problem with timings and possible system lock with subsequent WDLIVE reboot.
Fixed DISA sessions number. Only 5 sessions were created, configuration parameter sesnum was ignored.
Fixed CLIP (Calling Line Identifier Presentation) in VoIP card. Due to changes introduced in 5.7.0 it did not work anymore.
Added support of most of the statistics fields in the AC simulated by GSM module (visible in D D CTIAC and D S CTIAC).
Fixed bug in CTIR that caused “loss” of AC channel in RESERVED state when alternative routing HtoX, ItoX or DtoX is performed.
Released on November 16, 2006.
Added DISA (Direct Inward System Access) service. It allows services like “post-selection”.
DISA works with following coders: G.711, G.729, G.723.1, Spirit. The other coders (G.726, G.727, iLBC, Speex, GSM 6.10) are intentionally unsupported to reduce the size of the files containing the pre-recorded messages.
Calls coming from ISDN or POTS are regularly handled by using one DSP channel (one AC channel).
Incoming caller can be identified by CALLING number, through a PIN, or both, and appropriate actions or restrictions can be applied.
Added a Radius client for PPP accesses. The service is available for every kind PPP connection: ISDN, PPPoE, Leased line, Frame relay, etc., it support interim-account message.
Added possibility for PPP to authenticate and provide fixed IP addresses retrieved from:
Radius server
CPX user table
Configured in IP resource (this was already present in older versions)
Added many features to the IAX driver, which is now extremely powerful. Every user of IAX must upgrade to 5.7.0 or newer versions. Some examples of improvements are:
Simulated attended call transfer: it is possible to make attended call transfer using ANY hard/softphone, i.e. including those that do not support call path optimisation (e.g. Idefisk and all softphones based on libiax+iaxclient libraries).
Advanced selection of the state in which the call path optimisation is ordered
At incoming and/or outgoing call, send to IAX user a configured URL link, with possibility to insert per-call calling/called/subaddresses/ton in the URL.
Possibility to skip CTIIAX table by addressing the user specifying his name in SDO filed of a CTI routing. This is useful when there is the need to manage alternative routings.
Support of G.711 u-law, which was missing in previous version thus impeding use of certain softphones, e.g. Kiax under Linux.
Support of iLBC and Speex coders, pass-through only (i.e. ItoI, ItoC, CtoI)
Added CHAN-FREQ parameter, which allows to specify a optimisation interval for every channel. This is used to reduce transmission overhead, but adds delay.
Added support for SATA disks.
Added PINGSTAT command. Such command pings a destination and retrieves the increments in char-in and char-out of the resource(s) used to transmit and receive, and some statistics useful for making line performances analysis (easily importable in a spreadsheet), e.g .:
[20:17:03] DSP-PERF-208:pingstat 192.168.8.254
Pinging 192.168.8.254 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.8.254: IpResOut=1 IpResIn=1 bytes=32 RTT=108 ms TTL=63

...
Added possibility to add description for NAT and IPACL entries.
Added many features to GSM interfaces, as well as many bug fixes and support to a new hardware module. Every user of GSM must upgrade to 5.7.0 or newer version.
Added three new parameters in CTI routings: SCOUT, DJOUT, MJOUT. These are for a better tuning of silence compression and jitter compensation when transcoding is used. For a better experience it is advisable that jitter compensation is adjusted independently for the two sides, for example:
you have a LAN with a Idefisk softphone that connects to a CPX in G.711, and CPX transcodes to G.729 for Internet calls
for better experience it is advisable that you use small jitter values on LAN (e.g. dft=0 and max=100), and adequate values on Internet side (e.g. dft=100 and max=250).
Improved bandwidth calculation in resources over ML. Some fields was moved from statistics to diagnostics.
Added new parameter “HELOHOST” in SMTP. Now it is possible to specify what SMTP will send in HELO message.
Improved Telnet disconnections by DT. Some protections were added to avoid session blockage in CLEARING/CLEARED stated.
Fixed bug in DHCP that could cause system reboot.
Fixed bug in NAT for PPPtP handling. NAT did not work correctly with PPPtP translations when PAT:YES.
Several other minor bugfixes.
