Released on December 19, 2006.
Improved messages reported at the end of CPX package upload.
Changed behaviour of PING -Z option: now delay is done after that output string is printed. Removed -Z delay on first PING request.
Fixed bug in CP related to D T command output: the day of week was not updated after previous S T command.
Fixed SIM IP frame range. It was 0...2048, not it is 20...2048.
Fixed bug in “Fr over VSP” resources setting.
Fixed in CP the ZDLE sequences handling in binary header of Z-modem transfer that could cause Z-modem transfer to fail.
Fixed in CTISYS the AC (DSP channel) closure when HtoX or ItoX requires alternative routing. The AC was not released, therefore after several occurrences ALL AC became unusable, blocking any new compressed call.
Fixed in Q.931 the handling of DISCONNECT with in-band-info. Prior the fix the local tone was always generated.
Fixed in Q.931 the processing of ORCD parameter in Q931-TE. If all the digits were present in the SETUP message the ORCD did not close the number even if it should: e.g. if ORCD:9 and 9 digits were present in the setup, the call was not forwarded immediately but only after the T302 expired.
Fixed in CTIIAX the metatrunk handling. The trunk did not work correctly.
Fixed bug in ICMP when PINGing an unreachable host and later it became reachable: now IP SRC address changes depending on DST address.
Fixed in SNMP the byte order in 'cxUdpStConLsn' variable.
Fixed in TCP the SYN handling. When SYN request is received and application immediately send an hangup the socket is not closed immediately: in this way for each SYN request a RESET is sent, and peer detects the failure immediately.
Released on October 20, 2006.
Extended SAVE CONF and CONF SAVE commands with the possibility to specify a destination file. This is helpful when the compact flash gets damaged and it is necessary to backup the currently running configuration.
Improved D USER and D USERE command and help. From this version “a” and “all” are reserved names, not usable for users.
Fixed a bug that caused system reboot when user invoked the format of floppy from the front panel utility menu.
Fixed 'BSVC:' parameter setting in SDLC resources over DL. Setting BSVC caused the setting of PVC parameter.
Fixed a bug that caused system reboot in case that the CP session was disconnected (e.g. by telnet timeout) while certain DEBUG commands were still under processing.
Fixed infinite loop if the cluster link is closed during Q931C channel closure. This cause a long sequence of FRMWR events in the system log and subsequent reboot with WDLIVE1.
Removed some unnecessary FRMWR.
Fixed bug in UDP that could cause session loss after LSN recirculation from 255 to 0.
Fixed in CtiIAx the handling of FaxRelay parameter, it caused a system reboot.
Updated SNMP mib to reflect changes in UDP resource.
Fixed Q931 sorted extraction in TrcMgrW and CpxBxa utilities.
Released on October 6, 2006.
Changed IPRTR TTL default value from 64 to 255. The new value is assigned in configurations created from scratch, converted configurations keep old values.
Modified in CTIR the evaluation of incoming/outgoing type of connection sides in CallTransfer. The result is that the survivor side of the first call is kept as “input” in the resulting transferred call, with the consequence of a more useful indication of calling and called numbers in the transferred call.
Prior to this modification the survivor side of first call became input or output depending on several circumstances which made the resulting values much less useful.
Added protections in TELNET and SSH to recover frozen sessions. The problem of frozen session occurs when TCP keepalive is not used, the remote side closed the TCP receive window, and the TELNET/SSH has to close the connection (e.g. because of disconnection timeout). Now in such circumstances the session is forcedly closed after 30 seconds.
Added several protections in DHCP to prevent host table corruption. When such corruption occurred the Abilis restarted automatically with an exception. Now if the problem occurs only the DHCP service is stopped, and the DHCP log will help to debug the problem.
Improved and configuration and statistics/diagnostics of ML link layer. Now it's more easy to understand them.
Updated SNMP mib because of CTIIAX and ML diagnostics.
Extended the CTIIAX diagnostics. Now the Q.931 state embeds the direction of the call and it also show the numerical value of the state.
Added the possibility to rename the CTI clusters. E.g. S CTICL ID:line1 ID:NewLine1.
Fixed a bug in DHCP driver, there was an incorrect reallocation of IP addresses for another client, if IP pool was empty.
Fixed bug in CTIIAX in relation to meta trunk handling. It caused bad voice quality by wrong discard of packets.
Fixed and improved many other things in CTIIAX.
Fixed several bug related to time-stamps when playing locally generated tones (ALERTING, HOLD, DISCONNECT, BUSY, DISC).
Fixed in CTIR the failure cause when the cluster is down: FF A5 (L1DOWN).
Fixed in CTIR the pickup of calls that were previously transferred in alerting state.
Removed a weakness in CTIR related to HOLD procedure. If both sides of a cluster went HOLD and the first one removes the HOLD, the parking tone was not played and the cluster channel went to ACTIVE state instead of keeping HOLD.
Released on September 1, 2006.
Improved IAX debug functions (DEBUG RES:CTIIAX command)
Increased sessions for simultaneous registrations form 10 to 20.
Added idenfication of Audiotel USB GSM module.
Fixed PPPtP support in NAT that was broken from version 5.6.0.
Fixed MLM retry counter when the session is just opened. There was a mistake that computed retries as 9000/T1, therefore if T1=6000 only one attempt was performed, and if the frame was lost the connection failed. Now, until the first link-check response is receive the retry counter is 3 and T1 is 3000; they are changes to configuration value at the first response received.
Fixed a strange behaviour of BRIO ports when NUM was configured different from *. Before the fix the when NUM<>* the outgoing call was refused if the calling number was present but different from the value configured in NUM.
Fixed LCR: and LCRKEY: parameters setting in IP resources, LCR and LCRKEY tokens were not accepted.
Fixed S DEV:GSMCODEC-XXX NONE,NONE command, values NONE,NONE were not accepted.
Fixed a vulnerability in SMTP driver that could cause sw exception when using command DEBUG RES:SMTP LSN:4 CMD:<text with fields not closed> (e.g. CMD:Jack<jack@test.lan:John<john@test.lan>:SubjectText:BodyText)
Released on July 31, 2006.
Added in CTIIAX the call-path-optimisation feature. When properly configured Abilis CPX can order call-path-optimisation (CPO) between two iax users. It is also possible to select if in case of CPO failure the call must drop or continue through the Abilis CPX. The configuration of the two users involved are evaluated simultaneously, the most protective action is taken (e.g. one allows CPO the other does not ... the CPO is NOT performed). CPO is possible only for ItoI calls.
Changed name of some parameters in CTIIAX and cpx users: NOTRAN -> CPO, TRUNING -> TRUNK, IAX-NOTRAN -> IAX-NO-CPO
Added DTMF detector in GSM driver. Now the DTMF that the GSM module plays toward CPX are detected and converted in dtmf frames for the packet protocols (cluster, iax ...)
Added parking/alerting tones for when a GSM port is involved in call transfer.
Added diagnostics in case that a DSP goes to FAILED state. The last paramaters used are now shown.
Updated SNMP mib and html.
Fixed D CTIPE for GSM ports. The parameters HOLD, CT, SS, SS-PICKUP are now hidden because not used by GSM ports.
Fixed use of GSM without CTI cards. The GSM driver provides a G.711 coder which is now listed in “available coders”. With prior version it was not possible to use GSM without at least one CTI card.
Released on July 14, 2006.
Improvements in CTIIAX metatrunk handling
Improved (reduced) the memory occupied by CTIIAX.
Added tracing of the AT commands exchange for the GSM modules.
Added the possibility to see trace content using an ASCII decode option. This enhancement has been added to the TRACE DISPLAY command but also to TRCMGRW and CPXTAB utilities.
Changed D CTICL output sorting. Now output is sorted by cluster name.
Fixed in CTIR the processing of called number digits accumulation when PREFIX routing is used and alternative routings takes place. This problem caused the execution of the call on the alternative routing with a certain number of digits duplicated, e.g. the user called 021234567 and the call on alternative routing may result with a called number 0212345671234567 (02 1234567 1234567).
Fixed in CTIR the evaluation of cluster link states when more than one cluster link was configured under a cluster. The bug was that if the first was DOWN also all the others were considered DOWN.
Fixed in CTI system the diagnostic of CTI ports of GSM type: CD field now is filled correctly also in outgoing calls and the GSM-STATE is now supported.
Fixed incorrect default in DSP driver. Default coder was G.723.1 while it must be a safer G.711.
Fixed in CTIR missing protections for opening of DSP channels without audio parameter specification: it must not be allowed.
Fixed in CTIIAX the handling of PROGRESS message. In some situations it caused the opening of a DSP channel without prior setting the audio parameters, which in a chain reaction cause the DSP channels to fail permanently.
Fixed in CTIIAX the handling of user names: identical name configured in the parameters of the user table username and iax-reg-user were not managed correctly and registration failed.
Fixed in GSM CTI ports the handling of crossing incoming with outgoing call. Before the fix in case of incoming call during the accumulation of digits for the outgoing call, the outside caller received the ringback signal while the call was not really delivered. Now the outside caller gets the call rejected.
Fixed GSM CODERS-OUT gain adjustment. Before the fix the real gain set was the half of the configured value. I.e. -10 dB were actually -5 dB.
Fixed legend of states for the HTTP page showing pots ports states. The symbols for Active In and Active Out were wrong.
Fixed and update SNMP and mid and HTML.
